Just dropping this here mainly as a marker for later but this is something that I can relate to very easily. It is often seen that SOA will be the life saver to re-use, but in reality it is more about the ability to integrate systems.

Sure there is the need to re-use but it is not as high in percentage terms as many people would have you think.
